Feedback and Reporting
Reporting on ākonga progress in learning is one of our key responsibilities.
Reporting happens continuously throughout the year and will come in three forms to reflect the full range of learning at Te Kura:
- feedback on work submitted via Dropbox, including NCEA results
- engagement feedback, including work completed at Huinga Ako, Leaving to Learn activities, through the online timetable of classes, online programmes etc.
- feedback within My Korowai on Ngā Mātāpono - the principles of Te Ara Pounamu, and Ngā Āheinga, ways of thinking and being.
Ngā Mātāpono are the principles that guide teaching practice and learning design, and which we follow when working with ākonga and whānau. Ngā Āheinga makes visible the strengths-based skills, capabilities and ways of thinking that will help ākonga in their learning, and in other environments beyond school including work, social, sporting and cultural activities - all of the things they do in their everyday lives.
We encourage whānau/supervisors to sit with their ākonga and look at their continuous feedback/reporting together in My Te Kura. You can also log in to My Te Kura independently to look at feedback and reporting for your ākonga.
