Supervisor role
All full-time and early childhood ākonga (students) enrolled with Te Kura are required to have a nominated supervisor who is available to help them with their Te Kura mahi during the day. This is often someone from their whānau.
The following guidelines explain Te Kura expectations for supervisors along with ideas for working with kaimanaaki (support person) and kaiako (teachers) assigned to ākonga. These guidelines also include help for getting started, setting up a computer, Te Kura programmes, accessing work and Te Kura reporting.
